IT SHALL BE WELL

by Jim Murriner

Isaiah 3:10
" Say ye to the righteous, that [it shall be] well [with him]: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings."
Php 4:6
" Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."
Romans 8:28
" And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose."
I have said before that no matter what the situation, no matter what may happen, for we who are saved by the grace of God all things are for our good.
Now today I want us to look at some people in the Word of God who had some real bad times and yet they were able to glorify God in the midst of their troubles.
I want each one who is saved to say as they leave this place today that no matter what shall come our way, IT SHALL SURELY BE WELL, because God has told us so.
First:
Let’s look at Job and His response to his troubles.
Job 1:1-22
After Job had lost all his wealth, and all his children, he said,  "...blessed be the name of the Lord."
We worry and complain, over small things not going our way, and we ought not to do so.
We are often unhappy because if we things don’t go our way, or if we suffer loss in any way, we are sad.
Yet the bible tells us that if we will seek to please God in all our ways that even our enemies will be at peace with us.
Prov. 16:7
Many times we have worries and troubles that we should not even be concerned with.

I Those who will live godly will be happy regardless of what circumstances may surround them, because,
A. We have all our sins pardoned and now stand guilty of nothing before God.
Isaiah 55:7 He not only will pardon, He has pardoned all who are trusting that Jesus
Christ has died to pay for their sins.
Because Christ has died to pay for our sins, and the Holy Spirit has worked a work or grace within us and caused us to trust that Christ had indeed paid for our sins, we now have no guilt, or condemnation.
Romans 8:1 ; 33-34
If there is now no condemnation unto us we then stand before God without any guilt.

B. We who were once strangers to God, and even enemies of God, He now has reconciled unto Himself.
Romans 5:10 ; II Cor. 5:18 ; Col. 1:21
If these be the things that bring us happiness then it shall be well with us.

C. We who have been saved by the grace of God, are kept saved by Him also.
John 17:12 ; I Peter 1:5
D. We who are saved can have great joy and happiness because Jesus Christ the very Son of God gave His life for us.
John 10:15 ; Titus 2:14
E. Not only has Christ given Himself for God’s elect, He continues to intercede for us.
Romans 8:34 ; Heb. 7:25

The reflection on these things affords such a peace to the mind, as to far exceed all outward delights.
Philippians 4:8
