What We Believe
We are a "Landmark" Baptist Church in that we hold that a church to be scriptural,
must have been started from another historic Baptist church rather than from a
mission board or from some man.
We believe that Christ started His church with those God had saved, and John had
baptized Luke 6:12 - 16 I Cor. 12:28
All of His churches came from that church Acts 8:1,4,5 Acts 11:19-22 Acts 13:1-4
We are an "independent" Baptist Church in that we are not affiliated with any
board, convention, or association.
We are a "Bible" Baptist Church in that we believe that the Bible is God's Word
and our only guide for faith and practice.
We also believe that the King James Bible is God's Word for the English speaking
people, and that the modern versions are not just different versions of God's
Word, but in fact are perversions.
We are a "Sovereign Grace" Baptist Church in that we believe that God is all
Sovereign. To say that God is Sovereign is to say that He is in control of all
things, even to the permitting of sin, and being the cause of salvation.
We are a "Missionary" Baptist Church in that we believe in doing mission work,
both in foreign lands and here in America.
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith, and that faith and repentance
are inseparable graces.
We believe that all those whom the Lord saves, He keeps saved.
We believe that all who have been saved by the grace of God, will live a
seperated life. All who have been given faith to trust in Jesus Christ as their
personal saviour are to follow Him in scriptural baptism into His church.
It is in His Church that we give glory unto God.
